Prepregs of Isola PCB Material
Prepregs are typically made from layers of fibres such as carbon, glass, or aramid. After the actual pressing is completed, the inner layer’s residual copper rate and the finished copper’s thickness are affected. As a result, the thickness of the finished product is usually 10-15um less than the original value.
Isola PP usually has 1080 ( thickness of 0.08 mm ), 2116 ( thickness of 0.12 mm ), and 7628 ( thickness of 0.2 mm ). The differences between these three PP types are thickness and resin content. For example, take a sample of 370HR PP, 1080 resin content is 64.5%, 2116 resin content is 54%, and 7628 resin content is 47%.
About Isola Astra MT77
